A decent week for SciFi comics this Jan 13, 2010.
At the top of our list are a pair of Star Wars Trade paperbacks including:
STAR WARS KNIGHTS O/T OLD REPUBLIC TP VOL 08 DESTROYER which include KOTOR issues on that awesome story arc about Jarael’s past as a slaver. Amazon has this now available for only $12.14 (a discount off the $17.99 cover price).
There is also a STAR WARS OMNIBUS SHADOWS OF EMPIRE TP VOL 01 out now with a list price of $24.99 – Amazon has it for $16.49.
Yeaah Shadow of the Empire is a little old school now but there are some great comics in that time period.
The Dark Horse Omnibus edition do a great job of packaging up all those great comics into one massive volume that makes for an awesome week of reading.
Yeaah we’re saad too that David Tennant is gone from Doctor Who -but the ongoing Doctor Who series for IDW – does provide some comfort.
Issue #7 is out this week.
The second issue of FARSCAPE DARGOS QUEST – is out this week for Farscape fans too.
GALACTICA 1980 #4 resumes this great series…
No more re-imagined Starbuck is a frakking Angel crap here.
Last but not least is
STAR TREK CAPTAINS LOG SULU #1 – which gives us a Captain Sulu of the USS Excelsior tale - IDW has a dubious record with Star Trek comics – with more misses than hits, but we’re hopefully that the talent on this book will make it shine
